CTEC, The University of Western Australia Workshop Support - Thompson Surgical Instruments
OptiMed Technologies are proud to support training and workshop opportunities. OptiMed Technologies place value on opportunities for continued support in the medical industry, providing support in both product provision and training. These opportunities not only provide surgeons an opportunity to better their skills, but to do so using the most innovative products available.
The Clinical Training and Evaluation Centre (CTEC) - The University of Western Australia
OptiMed Technologies recently provided support to CTEC and UWA by provision of Thompson Surgical Cadaver Lab Systems for the Core Skills: Hepatobiliary Surgery Workshop. The workshop lead by A/Prof Lingjun Mou (Specialist Consultant Surgeon in HPB and Transplant Surgery) provided an opportunity for surgeons to develop further their knowledge and skills in clinical-based training.
Statement - Shellen Redman - Chief Technician, CTEC, Medical School.
"Thank you so much for your support on the Core Skills: Hepatobiliary Surgery Workshop, and your time during the day supporting participants. It was invaluable having your support. We had incredibly positive feedback from the workshop. The feedback included requests for an increase in Thompson Retractor Systems at each station, which is a reflection on how useful and appreciated the retractors were to the day's proceedings."
